Set your own pace at Jesse's Cottage, a Smoky Mountain farmhouse with a bold mountain stream and long range mountain views. Jesse built this house on land his wife's brother sold them to raise his family. Jesse's Cottage is located 12 minutes South of Cherokee and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on an acre between Dillsboro and Bryson City, two minutes off US 74/441. Grill out at the picnic area along the stream, roast marshmellows over a campfire in the fire pit, then rock on the front porch and watch the moon rise over the mountains. Next morning awake as the sun chases the cool morning dew away, perhaps there will be a new-born calf frolicking on wobbly legs in the neighboring pasture. Back in the large kitchen enjoy a home-cooked breakfast: everything - well you have to provide the food - you need to prepare

Jesse's Cottage is a limited handicapped accessible 1200 square foot comfortably furnished mountain farmhouse with one and a half baths, three (3) bedrooms (two with a queen bed, one with bunkbeds), a large living room, kitchen and laundry room. There is an enclosed heated side porch for those really cool nights, and plenty of rockers on the large screened front porch.
